Discover The Great Outdoors

Become the hero of your own story in the beautiful market town of Carmarthen. Ready to start your adventure? Get active with some of the best sea kayaking, coasteering, mountain biking and rock climbing in the world. Nestled upon the River Towy, you’re just half an hour from the Brecon Beacons and the beautiful sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

These stunning backdrops lend themselves perfectly to our exciting courses – from sport, health and outdoor education to the performing industries.

Why Carmarthen

'Home from Home'

Carmarthen Campus is a special place. It’s a ‘home from home’ to some 1500 students, a close-knit and safe community and a caring learning environment where students are acknowledged by their name and not by number.

The feeling of belonging is a key attribute – belonging to the Trinity family, belonging to the history and heritage of the campus and belonging to a vibrant and forward-looking university.

The campus is a combination of the old and new, with its buildings spanning three centuries – the splendour of the Old College dating back to 1848 on the one hand and the striking and iconic Canolfan S4C Yr Egin, a new creative centre, built in 2018, on the other.
