What was your favourite thing about Carmarthen campus?
What I really enjoyed about studying at Carmarthen Campus was the helpfulness and passion that came from the lecturers and staff. They not only had a clear passion for the subject matter but also for helping the students.
Why did you choose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø?
I chose to study at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø due to its clear passion for encouraging creative careers. It’s not often you see a university or institute so keen on promoting careers in the creative industry and that’s something that really drew me to this university and course.
What did you enjoy outside your studies?
What I really enjoyed outside my studies was the access I had to surrounding areas. Within an hour’s driver you have both Pembrokeshire and the Gower which is home to breathtaking coastlines, perfect for a photographer and filmmaker like myself.
What are you doing now, how did you get to where you are and how has your course helped you in your career?
I’m currently working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker based out of Swansea. Hoping to build up a big enough portfolio so that I can start working with sponsors and taking my skills abroad for more job opportunities.
What was your favourite thing about your course?
The best thing about the Adventure Filmmaking course is the range of skills you learn and the opportunities you are offered. The course has taken me to some incredible places both in the UK and abroad, allowing me to develop my skills in a variety of unique environments, making me a more well-rounded creative and person.
Would you recommend ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and why?
Yes, I’d absolutely recommend studying at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. The Adventure Filmmaking course is interesting and engaging and this not only comes down to the topics covered within the subject, but also down to the enthusiasm that comes from the staff and other students. Carmarthen campus is an amazing hotspot for going on your own adventures outside of studying.
