What was your favourite thing about Carmarthen campus?

Carmarthen campus is very small which created a very nice and homely atmosphere, making it easier to meet new people.

Why did you choose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø?

I chose this University because it had a really good reputation within the performing arts courses which offered a variety of modules and the experience of working with various industry professionals. I really enjoyed my time on the undergraduate and postgraduate course.

What did you enjoy outside your studies?

I always enjoyed being with my friends, going to town, bowling, or visiting Llansteffan for a nice walk.

What are you doing now, how did you get to where you are and how has your course helped you in your career?

I graduated in 2023 and since then I have been working as a freelance (a mixture of acting, directing and facilitating), however, I was lucky to have made contacts whilst I was at university which made life after graduation a bit easier. The course provided me with the confidence and knowledge needed to enter the industry, and I will forever be grateful for that. Funnily enough, I am currently working at the University on their upcoming production The Admirable Crichton. It feels wonderful being back in the space with the most amazing staff and students.

What was your favourite thing about your course?

My favourite thing about the course was the independence I was given. There was always support provided if needed, however, the course really helped me to understand who I was as a director, what I enjoy directing, and how I go about my own rehearsal space(s) and, without independence, those independent discoveries would not have happened.
